Chris Sherry
President / Partner
Chris joined Narland in 2003 as Vice President and became a partner shortly thereafter. Today, Chris is the President of the company and is focused on the long-term growth of the organization and is responsible for the company’s acquisitions, development and leasing departments. During his tenure, Chris has participated in transacting over $1 Billion of real estate with Narland, coordinated over $200 million in new commercial/residential developments and has successfully negotiated over one million square feet of leasing.
Elissa Dabiri
COO / Partner, RPA
Elissa joined Narland in 2003, becoming a partner in 2021. As Chief Operating Officer, Elissa is responsible for the successful execution of all operational aspects of Narland including property and asset management, project management, due diligence and real estate transactions, risk management, tenant relations and client relations/development. Elissa oversees Narland’s finance, operations, information services and administration departments.
Peter Chappell
Advisor
Peter joined Narland in 1993, and became a partner in 1996. During his tenure at Narland, the company acquired and managed over $1 billion in commercial real estate and developed over $200 million in residential and commercial real estate. Peter now provides input and advice on various aspects of the business including operational and financial structure.
Raj Opal
Director of Finance, CPA
Raj joined Narland as Controller in 2012, becoming the Director of Finance in 2021. Along with a CPA (Certified Professional Accountant) designation, Raj brings over 15 years of accounting real estate experience. He also holds his British Columbia Trading Services License. Raj’s responsibilities include overseeing all company accounting functions, ensuring accuracy of internal and external financial reporting, acquisition financial analysis and coordination of financing/refinancing efforts. He is also responsible for the implementation and improvement of policies and procedures.
Edward Gudewill
Vice President of Acquisitions, CFA
Edward joined Narland in 2022 as Vice President of Acquisitions. He brings over 12 years of financial and capital markets experience serving institutional investors at Raymond James Equity Research, and high net worth families at Richardson Wealth, raising capital and managing a portfolio in excess of $700 million across all asset classes. Including private real state. Mr. Gudewill ‘s responsibilities include identifying and evaluating potential real estate acquisitions and divestitures to maximize profitability for the company and its investors. He is also a CFA Chartholder.
